Revolution Farms is just off a quiet country road in Caledonia, Michigan where they’ve created the ideal indoor environment for fresh lettuce to thrive during every month of the Midwest climate. Inside the facility is a 50,000 square foot state-of-the-art greenhouse and an on-site packaging line.
By blending technology and biology, supply chain, and advanced agriculture, their farm harnesses natural light, automatically adjusts temperature, wind, shade, humidity, and carbon dioxide. Their fresh greens are cut at the peak of growth, immediately packaged on-site and delivered to your local grocery store in 1-2 days.
With a growing business rooted in sustainability and innovation, Revolution Farms needed a website that reflected their passion for lush, fresh lettuce merged with cutting edge technology. CurlyHost developed a site that immerses the user in a visually rich experience of greens and vibrant lettuce imagery combined with a sleek, on-brand lettuce finder that makes it easy for the user to get their hands on the product.
When you first land on the homepage, the user is greeted with an exciting blast of color and a big splash of robust lettuce. As the user scrolls down, waves of color direct the eye to important information and keep the user moving through the site. CurlyHost added subtle animations such as the lettuce slider and flipping cards to provide playful moments of engagement for the user with a nod toward the creative use of technology on which the farm was built.
