Max’s South Seas Hideaway will be a three-story tiki bar and restaurant located on Ionia Street near Stella’s Lounge. This unique restaurant will transport guests into a fantasy world of perpetual tropical twilight outfitted with original and vintage tiki artwork and décor. A hand crafted cocktail menu created by award winning cocktail expert, Martin Cate, includes classic exotic cocktails pioneered by places like the legendary Don the Beachcomber and Trader Vic’s alongside original tiki libations exclusive to Max’s South Seas Hideaway.
Exotic and Tropical were the two words that drove the creative factor of this site. Tiki bars are known for an oasis atmosphere with dim lighting and a sense of excitement so the website had to convey the same message. Fun images of vintage décor alongside a dark ambiance work together to emit this strong sense of relaxation and adventure.
Initially the site is directed toward the press release and potential workers wanting to apply for open positions. CurlyHost is excited to journey along with Max’s South Seas Hideaway as they keep evolving until their doors open in the fall!
